AUOMMATON Launches Osun State Chapter Amidst Fanfare

The Amalgamated Union of Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON) officially launched its Osun State chapter on Monday, May 12, 2025, in a ceremony marked by colorful fanfare and high-profile attendance.
The event saw representation from key state and federal agencies, including the Osun State Government, with Governor Ademola Adeleke ably represented by a commissioner. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander and the Commissioner of Police also had their representatives present. Traditional rulers, including Obas and chiefs, graced the occasion, adding cultural significance to the gathering.
Leading the AUOMMATON delegation was the Union’s President, Engr. Dr. Oseni Suleiman Akinola, who arrived with other executives and members from the headquarters in Abuja. The launch reflects AUOMMATON’s rapid growth and increasing presence across Nigeria’s states.
In his address, Dr. Akinola expressed optimism about the Union’s future in Osun State, emphasizing its commitment to improving the welfare of mechanics and technicians while fostering professionalism and innovation in the sector.
The launch event, held in the spirit of unity and progress, underscored the significance of AUOMMATON’s mission to provide a robust platform for the empowerment and regulation of motor mechanics and technicians across Nigeria.
